Time with IX: Introducing ATIXA Credentialing to Elevate Standards for Title IX Professionals

As the landscape of Title IX and civil rights compliance becomes increasingly complex, professionals deserve recognition of their advanced skills, nuanced judgment, and applied expertise in critical roles. In this community event, we will introduce ATIXA Credentials, which recognize a practitioner’s expertise in role-specific decision-making, complex scenario handling, and ethical consistency. 

Unlike traditional certifications that validate what someone knows, credentialing evaluates what someone can do in real-world contexts, in alignment with professional standards.  

During this session, attendees will: 

• Understand how credentialing differs from certification and why combining them strengthens professional development. 

• Learn about ATIXA’s new pre- and post-course tests. 

• Explore ATIXA’s role-based credentials, including Credentialed Coordinator, Investigator, and Decision-Maker. 

• Hear leadership insights on why credentialing is a “game-changer” for the field. 

• Review maintenance expectations and strategies for institutional adoption. 

By the end of the session, attendees will know how to pursue ATIXA credentialing and how it can strengthen professional credibility.
