Elizabeth Rogers is an accomplished higher education professional with extensive experience across various institutions, specializing in program management, compliance, and strategic partnerships. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, African American Studies, and Sociology, as well as a Master of Arts in Gender and Race Studies from the University of Alabama. With over a decade of expertise, Elizabeth has focused her career on organizational development and advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) through trauma-informed public health interventions.
Her career includes leading sexual violence prevention efforts at UCLA, where she developed DEI training centered on racial and gender equity, trauma-informed practices, and strategic planning. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator and Assistant Director of Civil Rights at Wofford College, and as a Leadership Coach for Social Justice and Community Organizing at the Stan Greenspon Center in Charlotte, NC.
A passionate advocate for survivor justice and racial equity, Elizabeth draws from Black Feminist scholarship and community organizing to champion liberation and equity for historically marginalized communities. Her work highlights the intersections of gender-based violence, race, sexuality, and policy. She has also taught courses in African American Studies, Women’s Studies, and Political Science at the University of Alabama, where she contributed to peer education at the Women and Gender Resource Center.
