Kait Spear is a Program Officer with the Action Collaborative on Preventing Sexual Harassment in Higher Education. Before joining the National Academies in 2022, Spear was a Senior Research Associate at NORC at the University of Chicago, where she engaged in many IPV-related, policy-oriented projects. Spear received her Master in Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, along with two certificates in Health Disparities and Health Inequality, and Population Health. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Medicine, Health, and Society; Psychology; and Women’s and Gender Studies from Vanderbilt University.
