Rosemarie (Rosie) Jones, MPPA 

Rosie Jones (she/her) is an EdD candidate in Educational Practice at the University of Missouri–St. Louis and serves as Director of Admission and Student Affairs in the Roy and Diana Vagelos Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to her work in higher education, she held roles in nonprofit management with organizations focused on supporting those affected by gender-based violence.  

Rosie is committed to fostering academic environments where learners can bring their full, authentic selves into university spaces. She is a trained restorative practices facilitator and applies a care ethics framework to guide her student affairs work and institutional initiatives.  

She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Women and Gender Studies and Philosophy, as well as a Master of Public Policy and Administration with an emphasis in Gender and Policy. Rosie is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).  

Her research interests include faculty understanding and support of pregnant and parenting students; the intersection of policy and socially constructed identities; and representations of intimate partner violence in reality television.
