Robin Kimberlin, MSW, Ed.D.

Robin Kimberlin is a doctoral candidate pursuing her EdD in Educational Practice and a dedicated higher education professional with over 12 years of experience in student affairs. She holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  

She currently serves as Director of Student Advocacy at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where she leads teams focused on delivering comprehensive, student-centered support services. Robin was the founder of the university’s food pantry and case management office. She also serves as Chair of her university’s CARE Team, coordinating cross-campus responses to students of concern and advancing proactive, trauma-informed intervention strategies. Her leadership emphasizes collaboration, equity, and the development of systems that effectively respond to the complex needs of today’s students.  

Her research interests center on gender equity in access to higher education, with a particular focus on the experiences of students navigating pregnancy while pursuing their academic goals. She is also interested in advancing the role of student affairs professionals as engaged and effective scholars.
