Steve Ginsburg, J.D., founded SDG Group in 2022. Steve is a lawyer, communications advisor, and anti-bias expert with unique experience navigating situations involving the conflict between free expression and a hostile environment. He was appointed by the president of the University of Pennsylvania to create and co-direct its Title VI office. This first-of-its-kind office investigates complaints, mediates conflict, and educates the campus community.
With a background as an attorney in the public and private sectors, Steve’s counsel incorporates legal, financial, political, and reputational considerations, and balances the tensions from divergent stakeholders. Steve worked for over a decade at the Anti-Defamation League and is one of the nation’s foremost experts in understanding and addressing incidents of bias-related discrimination and harassment including racism, antisemitism, and Islamophobia.
