We are sharing the news that ATIXA Executive Director Katie Walker will be moving on to a new opportunity next month as President of the West Chester, PA Chamber of Commerce. Katie’s prior experience included Chamber leadership and it has always been near and dear to her heart. We are grateful to Katie for serving ATIXA through an unprecedented year, from navigating the association landscape through COVID, to pivoting formerly in-person conferences and events to virtual formats, to responding to the needs of the field through historic new Title IX regulations. She led a strong and growing team during her time with ATIXA and we are better for her time here.
To assure continuity of our high-quality member experience, ATIXA is pleased to announce that Meg Calel, ATIXA’s Assistant Executive Director, will be stepping into the role of Interim Executive Director. Meg has been with ATIXA since November 2017 and many of you have enjoyed meeting her at past in-person events, on Times with IX, moderating trainings, on the listserv, and even chatting on the websites. She is well-versed in all things ATIXA and we appreciate her willingness to assume these added responsibilities. ATIXA will be posting for a full-time Executive Director shortly.
