Katie Davidson brings over 12 years of experience in social work to her role at Wichita State University, where she leads the university’s non-clinical case management department. She holds a Master of Social Work from Wichita State University and a Bachelor of Science from McPherson College. Before joining WSU in 2023, Katie worked in outpatient mental health for six years, supporting adolescents through case management services and leading psychosocial groups. Katie later spent six years in victim services, working with survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking. Her work is rooted in trauma-informed care, advocacy, and building systems that help students feel supported and empowered. When she’s not building programs or supporting students, Katie enjoys trying out new baking recipes and being outside with her children.
