Siena (She/Her/Hers) serves as a technician for the Office of Civil Rights Compliance (OCRC) at Colorado State University. With a background in psychology and criminology from the University of South Florida, she discovered her passion for Title IX and civil rights compliance work through an internship that evolved into a career that is continuing to grow. Since coming to CSU, Siena has worked in various roles supporting the Executive Director, investigators, and deputy directors across departments, including HR, serving on campus committees which monitor equity, behavioral trends/patterns, ADA compliance, physical and virtual accessibility. In addition to keeping connected and informed through training events with ATIXA and other professional organizations, Siena is pleased to be a member of the Civility and Respect (CRC) Community of Practice. Siena is also earning her master’s degree in counseling and is involved with research as part of a clinical psychology lab, which examines substance use and risky behaviors in historically marginalized populations and aims to improve policies and reporting practices in higher education.
