Dr. Eva Goldfarb, Ph.D., Professor of Public Health, Montclair State University, earned her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership in Sexuality Education from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. A leader in the field of sex education, Dr. Goldfarb’s research focuses on effective sexuality education methods, frameworks, and curricula; and best practices in sex education, including teacher preparation and training.
In 2021, Drs. Goldfarb and Lieberman published a seminal paper on three decades of evidence for comprehensive sex education. Since its publication, it has remained the most highly cited paper in the Journal of Adolescent Health. This led to a Guest Editorial in the NY Times and a wide range of presentations to state, national, and international organizations on school-based sex education and teacher preparation needs.
