We are excited to announce that beginning in May, ATIXA will bring you the first installment of the ATIXA Legislative Policy Corner, a monthly feature in our member newsletters to help keep you up to date on state and federal policy-related issues. ATIXA is always looking for ways to better serve our members, and one of the ways we are doing that is by playing a more active role as your voice in policy matters and helping keep you better informed on those that impact our field.
We have been active at the federal level raising awareness about the essential role of Title IX Coordinators and the important roles they play in schools, districts, and colleges, sharing how ATIXA can be an expert resource to inform policy decisions, and ensuring that we are keeping abreast of the latest developments in state and federal policy relating to Title IX, civil rights, and other education issues. We will be using this Legislative Policy Corner to provide regular updates on key legislation and policy news, as well as to ask for your support and engagement on policy matters.
