What is an ATIXA resource or tool that has aided you?
I find the model policies and the ATIXA listserv to be the most useful resources. Policy templates are easily customized to fit our campus environment as a private, independent law school. The listserv allows easy scrolling for relevant topics and the feedback and different approaches from colleagues on how they address Title IX issues is invaluable.
How has ATIXA helped you to be a better professional?
The ATIXA training and certification events provide me with the confidence that my institution is not only complying with regulations, but also providing our campus community with comprehensive policies and procedures meant to ensure a fair and transparent process for all involved.
What is one piece of advice you would offer your fellow practitioners?
Don’t try to reinvent the wheel. ATIXA resources provide all of the materials needed to formulate sound harassment policies and procedures.
